Should it be for amateurs or touring professionals or both?
I wonder what the qualifying process will be to make it?

It's pretty clear they are promoting golf in the Olympics for the best golfers in the world. That would be mostly pros. The videos are testimonials from pros saying how great it would be if they could play and represent their country. As with all Olympic sports, the qualifying will be up to each of the federations in the individual countries. They're proposing 60 women and 60 men. Countries could hold qualifying tournaments or base their selection on world rankings as they do with tennis in the Olympics. Since there are 114 countries in the IGF, obviously not every country will be able to send a team. Only the best players will be included.
