Cristie Kerr won the 35th annual State Farm Classic after a rain-delayed weekend of play forced a Monday morning finish. Kerr took the lead after shooting 63 in Round 3 and held on with a 69 in Round 4 to win by one stroke over Sweden's
Anna Nordqvist and Korea's
Na Yeon Choi. Kerr finished with a score of 17-under-par, 266, the lowest tournament score since the State Farm Classic moved to the Panther Creek Country Club in 2007.
This was Kerr's 13th career LPGA career win and her first since she won the 2009 Michelob Ultra Open in May 2009. It was also her second State Farm Classic win. She also won in 2004 when she set the tournament-record with a score of 264 (24-under-par) on The Rail Golf Course. Kerr now holds the tournament records on both courses at which the State Farm Classic has been played.
