Paula Creamer wins US Open

Paula Creamer finished up her fourth round with a two-under-par 69 to win by four stokes over Na Yeon Choi and Suzann Pettersen at the at the Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania. This is Paula Creamer first major championship win and ninth career US LPGA Tour title since she joined the LPGA tour in 2005.

The victory is Creamers first win for the year after being out of the tour for four months due to a thumb injury. Creamer had to have surgery this year and that has limited her attendance to only four tournaments this year.
