Meaghan Francella has won this years HSBC LPGA Brasil Cup in a sudden death playoff with LPGA rookie
Mariajo Uribe. The Tournament ended with a six-hole sudden death play-off, on the sixth playoff hole Francella rolled in a 10-foot birdie putt to secure victory.
The playoff began with Francella and Uribe both making birdies at the 18th giving them both a total of 140 or 6-under par for the
tournament. Candie Kung was in the last group with Francella and Uribe and was joint leader until the final hole where she made par eliminating her from the playoff.
