No one this year had an outstanding or dominating year. Even with the possability of Shin winning all of those awards (or anyone else), the year does not compare to any of Annika's top years in terms of dominating the tour. Shin, Ochoa, Kerr had a good year, not outstanding. |

Shin is a rookie by definition, in that, 2009 is her first year as a member of the LPGA tour. Michelle Wie is a rookie under the same definition. Are they "true rookies"? I don't know, what do you think a "true rookie" is?

Perhaps you are thinking that a "true rookie" is someone who has never played on the LPGA tour before earning a card at q-school or on the futures tour. If so, then neither Shin nor Wie are "true rookies" but Anna Nordqvist would be a "true rookie".

Didn't Anna earn her LPGA tour card at q-school? When did she play on the LPGA tour before she earned her card?
