Ji-Yai Shin wins money title.

I wonder why this hasn't been mentioned or maybe I missed it but Jiyai Shin has wrapped up the money title because she is farther ahead of second on the money list, Cristie Kerr, than the winner's share of the purse this week.

The winner's share this week is $225,000 but Shin is $279,292 ahead of Cristie.

What happens if a player drops out in the final round? Does the winner's purse stay the same? At Lorena's tournament I believe it increased after Natalie dropped out.

That's probably because it was a limited field event with no cut, but with the same purse now spread out among fewer players. There will be a cut this week.

What if someone withdraws after the final cut? It's unlikely, but that may be why they are not declaring the Jiyai Shin the money list champion until after the Tour Champion. If someone withdraws from the field of 30, the winner's share may be increased and if the winner is Kerr, it could change things.
