I've seen similar shoes in a Golf Shop and actually tried them on. They are like Crocs with spikes. Don't know what brand I saw.

Anyhow, yes, they're light...and they're uncomfortable as golf shoes. They don't 'hug' the foot like a leather golf shoe.

Also....I think the "Croc" type shoes are very ugly and best suited to being worn around the swimming pool or gym showers.

Somehow, I can't see them being very functional as golf shoes. They surely wouldn't offer much in the way of support.

My wife has a pair of Crocs, and they are most definitely ugly.

I see hot, sweaty feet in the wearer's future.

Hi! I wasn't a plastic shoes girl myself until DAWGS. Crocs looked like clown shoes to me, only there to compliment a sweatshirt. However, the DAWGS shoes are so cute and slimming. The souls are rubber and the heel fits more snug for support. I have not slipped out of these shoes and they are so comfortable. They are not in retail stores yet. I work with the company now and got mine just before the PGA show. My shoes weigh just over 4 oz. I hope this helps.

Hi Teeshot, welcome over to this mad, mad, mad, golf site. :-)

Ya those shoes do look like not imitations of Crocs, (functionally), though I guess the knowing is the trying.... thanks for you views and experience with them.
