| Clubs: Custom built or off the shelf? One reason I ask is I heard of Golf Galaxy customer building part of the store being removed at some locations. They have Golfworks components, shafts, grips and the materials needed if you want to build your own. Or you can pay them to build a set from parts you choose or they help you choose. So over the last two years I had irons fitted and made (2008) and all my woods (2009). |

The last set I bought online and had the shafts extended by 1 inch. They gave the option of type of shaft, grip size, and lie. I found it cheaper this way then going to a retail shop and ordering through them. You can go into a retail shop and get your build specs for free and save an extra few hundred dollars on the price of the clubs. |

My son and I build clubs, and customize them to each customer. There are advantages to having clubs that fit, rather than off the shelf. It's like buying a suit. One size doesn't fit everybody.
