Annika Talks About Leaving The Tour

from my blog: Annika Sorenstam Talks About Leaving Professional Golf, Current Players, Solheim Cup Fairways and Forehands

It’s always a thrill to hear from living legend Annika Sorenstam. She’s doing just fine and is anything but “retired.” From the LPGA, LET and other tours perhaps, but course design and her academy, not to mention being a mommy, keep her occupied.

I still remember Annika won 1995 US Women's Open, she was very slender and very shy.

Looks like a wedding band on her ring finger. Was she married back then?

Annika met her ex..David Esch in AZ and he was there at 1995 USWO...but I always thought he proposed to her afterwards at the Evian and then I think they were married in Jan 1997.
