Arnold Palmer

Arnold Palmer made it to the first tee at the Masters this morning. He looked quite ill, a real difference from only a year ago. Very sad.

It's more like 2+ years. Hey he's old. At some point you hit a wall. It happens to everyone at some point.

Our image is of him snaking the ball and walking quickly and confidently down the fairway. So tough to see now. At 80 Player still looks good. Even had a hole in 1 in the Par 3 competition.

But all things eventually change. Just a few years ago it was how many can Tiger win, and now he is not even part of the conversation.

I could have sworn Jim Nantz claimed yesterday that Tiger Woods would come back and contend at Augusta.

Agreed. Spouse and I were just talking about this. The change in him was remarkable.

Another TW drool boy...where's Kelly T?....lol.

I wonder if TW likes peanut butter and jam?....cause he's TOAST.

Tiger needs to go back to his tramp days....he didn't have back problems then, he could party till 3am...wake up at 6am and was WINNING events.
I heard sex therapy helps fire the glutes.

I hate to say it, but poor old Arnie looked like he wasn't sure where he was.
A retired Doctor at my golfing venue said his looks made him think dementia of some sort might be the reason Arnie looked like he did.
No matter, Arnie was, and always will be, one of the greatest, on or off the course.

Here's a recent interview before this year's Bay Hill tournament and I don't think he has dementia, at least not very advanced.

There is obvious weight loss. Gone is the big pot belly he's been sporting for the last couple of decades. His green jacket was dwarfing him at the 1st Tee ceremony. He's weak and his color doesn't look good. Sad to say, he looks like people I've seen with late stage cancer.

All golfers and golf fans owe him a huge debt of gratitude.
