Who will win the US Women's Open?

Default picks this time are the top-ranked/earning players from each country from among all players in the top 70 on the Rolex Ranking or the LPGA money list. Rank, Country and Source (Rolex or LPGA money list) is noted in parentheses.

Pick one before the first group tees off on Thursday or Write in Someone Else.

For another game to pick the best players this week, go to the round-by-round contest: Us open contest

I think she has a great shot as well. I listed her as my 'underdog' pick, not sure if it applies to her though.

Yeah,I'm not sure what the criteria for an underdog are.Would Azahara Muñoz qualify ?

Inbee Park is on the verge of winning again,if not this, then very soon. She's a good putter, which will be crucial this week, and in '08 she won with ease.

It was,one might say,a walk in the Park...

Cream rises to the top! Shootout between the two best players in the world (IMHO) Kerr and Ji Yai and I'll take Shin by a nose!

I think Kerrs game is right where it should be so I have to go with her.

the winner may be the one that is in the best shape. Pettersen has that and is a pretty fair player as well. If Suzann can stay within striking distance for the final round I think she'll do it. I don't like her with a lead going into Sunday though.

Hi ya folks...there is NO doubt in my mind....my pick to win this event is Wiesy...she has the length and ability to scramble as necessary...her strong GIR game will keep her in the hunt all the way to the end...yep...DO NOT be surprised when Wiesy is shown on TV on Sunday....and this time when she comes on, she will still be playing with a lot of holes left....I have been getting tired of seeing Sunday's telecasts with Wiesy already finished for the day...in this Tournament, WIESY will be in the THICK of the HUNT come Sunday.....go Wiesy go!!

have a good week folks...see ya....but I wouldn't be surprised to see Song Hee Kim winning this either...I don't think there is ANY LPGA golfer as CONSISTENTLY GOOD as she is right now....anyway....see ya!!
