Nice Pics.

Pre Tournament Observations.

I was at the Wed. practice round. The place is big. I did not walk the course but it looks a bitch to walk. This course is in great shape. Rough looks reasonable, but you do not want to be in it. Especially around the greens. Watched a lot of practice chipping around the greens. Looked tough. Rough looked thick but not long.

Watched some tee shots at 16, par 3 over water, down hill, 160+. Some wind today. THis could be a tough hole. Watched a bunch of balls in the water.

18 Looks tough. Par 5, can play long. approach over water. Good luck if you need to go at it in 2. It's all carry, but it is almost a right hand turn to the green so angles may make it shorter, but still all carry with a small landing area.

Didn't go around a lot, trying to conserve energy for the tournament, but conditions look perfect. Fairways seemed wide enough. Looks like a tough walk following the leaders for 18. Also looks like some nice elevation changes.

Players really grinding on the putting greens.

Very well said. I agree with you. 16,17, and 18 are going to be great finishing holes.
