Check your blood pressure. I hope your at Tiger Woods house because they seem to have paramedics on stand by. There dropping like flies over there.

I assume the winners had the best score. Hence they are the winners. Not sure why it matters what the actual score was.

Perhaps you can enlighten us as to why it matters so that we will understand oh wise one.

Right at this second, I would cuss a Lojo blue streak if it would do any good.

I AM JUST CURIOUS ABOUT THE SCORES, GET IT, CURIOUS, THAT'S ALL!

Your assumptions may or may not be correct, since the back 9 is worth more than the front 9 and total money determines the winner.

I'm just pusing your buttons. Winner lowest 18 hole score in all years. 2007 playoff to LPGA. Can't get it by front and back or by hole. The is the closest you are gonna get. Usually it is one player from one of the teams that has an outstanding day to push the winning team thru.

2009
CH -9
P -7
L -2

2008
CH -18
P -15
L -5

2007
L -7
CH -7
P -6

2006
P -14
CH -9
L -7

2005
CH E
P +9
L +16

More detailed response forthcoming to above. But the selection criteria can be found in the press release materials at www.themojo6.com. It is the top 7 players in the world, the top 5 US players and 4 sponsors exemptions. The goal is to get more viewers interested in the LPGA events and the excellent players we have as part of that tour. Our girls do not get the recognition or publicity they deserve and they are reaaaaaaally great role models as well as great athletes.

You are right - the selection criteria listed in the FAQs refer to the criteria for selection of opponents - not of the participants. So I guess you got a bit of inside info :-). The goal is to display our best and exciting female talent in a way that will encourage viewers to follow them and other LPGA players whenever and wherever they play. The Mojo team will clarify the criteria in future releases.

Joy, welcome to the site and thanks for the criteria. I have a slight problem with the term "Top 7," but I do appreciate the insight on the criteria.

My two cents... though maybe not to logical at the moment.... but why do these short golf thingy events get more TV promotion then a regular event, where the real deal is a full event on the fairways?

Is it just that they are shorter, and cost less to produce on Broadcast (LIVE) TV.... or is there some other reason they are promoted so much.

Do these shorties really have the fan TV base, that a full event does not? If so.... then I begin to think, that all the TV broadcasters are really interested in is quick money, and sideshow.

I think Blue said something about monkeys being a sure bet to see... or was that X?
Anyway seems a shame that we often get more the long trailer, then the movie.

Yet, maybe they, (broadcasting co's), are really tight with costs to.... as the sponsors sure have hollered about in 2009. Maybe its just a time to wait, and things well slowly get better. I am not holding my breath though... and I am rammblin right? hic... how do you spell Kalua... I can't even see the word. :-)

OK - so let me try and provoke some discussion because that way we get ideas how to increase interest in women's golf which I am passionate about.

I am sure we all agree that we have EXTREMELY talented women playing golf - LPGA. We also have EXTREMELY talented males playing golf - PGA.
Yet the PGA has a HUGE following and a way larger number of viewers than the LPGA. And the larger viewership of the PGA is there relative to the LPGA even when Tiger is out of the field. Why?
