So now it's 2 for 2 for Ai Miyazato...what a tremendous start to the season...and with fewer events the other POY hopefuls need to keep Ai in sight...won't be easy the way she's been playing since the US Open last year...

Once again Cristie Kerr folds down the stretch. She's had a chance to win 8-10 events including a couple of majors in the last year and she came up aces only once. She may be the best american player we have right now, but this growing list of failures doesn't say much, does it? Congratulations to Ai once again for a job well done. With the somewhat smaller schedule this year as opposed to last year, if the other ladies aren't careful, Ai could run away and hide in the POY race pretty quickly....

It's an impressive start for sure, but it's only week two and there hasn't even been a full-field event yet. At this point last year, everyone was anointing Angela Stanford as the POY. She went on to not win again. Even with a smaller schedule this year, it's a long season.

But to be fair Blue, Ai has 2 wins, Angela only won the opening event. I agree that it will be hard to run away and hide, but Ai already has a big lead in POY points. If she remains a consistent finisher, she could win it on the strength of her 2 early wins. And the smaller schedule doesn't help her competitors.
