Fan Diary Lotte Round TWO 2017

Hi ya folks...I am so so confused at the events that took place today...and what also what happens tomorrow...YIKES...here is what caused all of the confusion...I was at Hole #11...waiting for Wiesy to putt...all of a sudden, I see the players walking off the course and heading for a van...I figure that there is a Storm approaching and we would have a rain delay...I knew of a BIG tree on the side of hole #12 that I could easily hide my skinny body and wait out the approaching storm...so here I am...the ONLY PERSON in site at the 12th hole...a Marshall in a cart drives up to me to tell me that a storm is coming...I tell him that I am OK and I will wait up the approaching storm...he then tells me that Play is suspended for the Day and this is NOT a temporary delay...no more golf is going to be played for the rest of the day...I tell him THANKS...I then gather up my stuff and I decide to start heading for my car...the rain hasn't started and I am a FAST walker...I figured that in 15 minutes, I should reach my car and beat the rain...so now I focus on my path...walking like a marathoner...I reach my car and the rain has just started to drizzle...way to go wiefan...I just beat the storm...I drive home and then take a well deserved cigarette and relax...later on I decide to check on Wiesy's stats on LPGA.com...YIKES...she is on hole #13...they had resumed play...the marshall gave me the wrong scoop...bummers!!!...anyway, I am safe and I start thinking about the cut line...Wiesy was at minus one...right on the cut line...she cannot afford any mistakes...just par herself in and she will play the weekend...whew...so anyway...Wiesy will make the cut..I did a mathematical analysis of the players remaining to see if the cut line could change and eliminate Wiesy...Wiesy is safe....now comes my problem...what time does she play tomorrow...are they going on split tees...how early are the remaining players going to finish up round two...then how long to re-pair for round three...whew...is this confusing for me or what

lets talk about the Partial round of Wiesy that I saw...first of all...anyone watching the telecast probably saw more than me...I can just tell all of you that I finally became satisfied with Wiesy's decision on hole #5...when I saw her grab her LUMBER instead of an Iron...I knew that she was going for the green in two...beautiful shot...just missed the green by a foot...a chip and a putt for her BIRDIE...this made my day...Brooke made a great run on the back nine,,,"Dumbo" Chun is just simply a steady steady player...good round for her...Wiesy was just playing so so par par golf...at least a par is better than a bogey...but like I said...anyone watching the telecast could see this

anyway folks...I have a dinner tomorrow night, so I can't stay at the course too late and Saturday I have a party so I will miss the whole day...so this might be my last fan diary for this year...Yikes, I thought I heard a bottle of champainge just pop open...hmmm...anyway...have a great evening everyone and aloha...this concludes my typing exercise for the day...see ya

Wiefan
So were you the guy in the navy T shirt and dark shorts that hung to your knees or the guy in the white T shirts and jeans?

I have volunteered and seen my fair share of events.
The majority of volunteers are complete idiots...not only do they know jacksh*t about golf...but have ZERO common sense....sorry the tool told you play was suspended for the day.

Were you with a women in a Pink top? I didn't get to watch too much of round 2.

It takes a lot to cancel play for the day. Especially odd since it did not start raining yet.

Also not sure why they are not showing Round 3 tee times. Should be about around 9 am now. Doesn't seem like round 3 started on time.

Looks like a late start in split tees in 3's.
