Fan Diary Lotte Pro-Am 2017

Hi ya folks...I got to the course and met up with the MAIN MAN Cougar...lemme tell you about how I know he is IMPORTANT...while I was chitchatting with Cougar, a very high ranking LPGA Volunteer came up and ASKED cougar if he could borrow Cougar's Golf Cart to pick up something....now you know you are important when you have your OWN Golf Cart...for those of you that are interested...Cougar is in excellent health and mind...here is a story for you....

every year I ask Cougar if he saved anyone from DQ...he said that he saved NO ONE but he was in the tent when one occurred without his knowledge...it ws in the 2nd round of the CME...Cougar was busy on one side of the tent and on the other side...someone asked MJ Hur for an autographed ball...she said sure and proceeded to get a golfball from her bag...the problem was that her bag was just outside of the tent...I don't know who caught it, but poor MJ had gotten out of the scoring tent without finish signing her score card...poor "NOT of any Blame or knowledge of what took place" Cougar had to call a rules officials...the bad part of this was this was a limited field event...everyone would get paid if they finish the tournament...so MJ and her Caddy lost out on a guaranteed payday...cougar said that a lot of caddies now follow their player into the scoring tent...bummers huh...anyway...here is a high note...Good ol'Cougar got me free tickets and a parking pass...what a generous fella

a little about me...as a way to pass time, I am now into folding dollar bills into origami stuff...I gave Cougar a Peacock, a magic hat with a rabbit popping out...I was going to give him my famous shirt and tie that I made at the 15th hole while waiting for Wiesy's group to play, but I didn't see cougar when I left...I will give it to him tomorrow...I believe that I may have talked cougar to investigate the wonders of dollar bill folding...there are some super interesting stuff you can fold...anyway...nuff about me...back to golf...

besides being a fan of Wiesy, I am now a fan of Brooke Henderson...here is how easy it is to get me to become a fan...I was at the putting green watching players putt...I was watching Brooke Henderson putt...then all of a sudden she was done and she started walking STRAIGHT TO ME...my nervousness soon subsided when I realize that she was just heading for her next destination...so here is what I did...just so she wouldn't trip on the rope boundary, I lifted the rope up so she could easily walk under...she smiled at me and said THANK YOU...Brooke Henderson is now on my list of favorite players

ok folks,,,here is a little observation I have made about Wiesy...I think it is about time for her to DITCH her helicopter parents...she is ( I am guessing here) probably the only player that has her parents walking inside of the ropes as if they are her supreme coaches...before every tee shot, BJ is only a few feet in the back of her swing taking videos of her swing and ball flight...truly this borders "suffication of a child"...and folks, Wiesy is not a child anymore....anyway...just my opinion...whew...there was a time long ago, when I truly backed up the parents of Wiesy, for setting her up financially in the future...but come on man!!! this was a long time ago...Wiesy can play good golf without anyone's constant assisting...whew!!!....by the way....lemme tell you about Wiesy's gallery for this Pro-Am...there was ONLY ME...no one else...not even friends of her playing partners,,,I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone...but tomorrow will be another story for sure

about the Group playing ahead of Wiesy today...they included Tom Abbott and Kay Crockell...Tom can really play golf...Kay was pretty good also

anyway...this concluded my Fan Diary for today...my legs got a good workout today and my typing fingers got a good workout in this post...lol....see ya and Aloha folks

I am sure that she ignores all of that stuff.

Anyway good diary as usually.

It's 2017 not 1917. Rules have got to change. Stop with this 'Gentlemen's Game" stuff with today's TV coverage. Penalties for signing, stepping outside a tent, penalties a day latter ( 4 shots on Lexi) etc.

Was hoping she had gotten her parents to stay away, she had been playing well without them around. Already has bogeyed 2 par 5's, not a good way to start the week. I had picked her in our tournament, probably shouldn't have.

IMO...BJ has destroyed MW's golf career....oh ya...Lead Poisoning too.

BJ & Bo should have stopped travelling with her once she turned 21....7 years ago.
It's laughable they moved to Cali just to be close to MW when she was at Stanford.

Jess Korda was traveling on her own when she was 18.....her parents rarely showed up..be we are seeing them a bit more now that Nelly is on tour.

Both have game.
Tom was a US collegiate golfer at Mercer University.

Kay was a back to back US Women's Am champ...86 & 87.
She was a pro golfer from 87 to 97.
Her husband is an exec in the SF Giant's organization.
When the LPGA played the Swinging Skirt event at Lake Merced...Tom use to always shill Kay to take him to Olympic Club where she & hubby are members.

Nice to see the USWO will be played on a REAL course...Olympic Club in 2021.
