I read in this article that the LPGA had their biggest 18th hole crowd of the year at Evian: Evian Masters: Shin Rallies For Win: Golf Digest ...did anybody go to the US Open? Is this claim true? I'm just curious what that might mean about how the Europeans support ladies golf.

Was it the number who were on the 18th hole at the very end of the tournament or anytime on Sunday afternoon?
It would not surprise me that there were large crowds at Evian since it's the only LPGA tournament on the European continent. |
