Even if I tape it, my tendency is to fast forward and ruin the whole thing.

And that was a great shot.

There was also so much more.

It 's not always easy. You spend the whole day trying to avoid any news or sports and then it is blurted out on tv or the radio before you can turn away. I hate when that happens.

Well next week the Open is live anyway.

I read in this article that the LPGA had their biggest 18th hole crowd of the year at Evian:

Evian Masters: Shin Rallies For Win: Golf Digest

...did anybody go to the US Open? Is this claim true? I'm just curious what that might mean about how the Europeans support ladies golf.

I don't know if every tournament tries to count the fans at the 18th hole, but 10,000 sounds like a good number. I read that there were about 29,000 fans in attendance all day on Sunday at the US Women's Open. I don't know how many of those were on the 18th hole and how the Evian people made their count? Was it the number who were on the 18th hole at the very end of the tournament or anytime on Sunday afternoon?

It would not surprise me that there were large crowds at Evian since it's the only LPGA tournament on the European continent.

Thanks...yeah, I don't get how they got their count or make that claim...

...but here is a picture Ji Yai Shin posted on her Twitter account with her smaller Evian trophy...
