That is not the same as saying it had the same current date all the way back to 1983. Obviously no tournament is scheduled with the same end date every year if we want tournaments to always start on Thursday and end on Sunday.

It has, however, been held with a start date no earlier than March 22 and no later than April 3 all the way back to 1983. This is not much beyond the natural cyclical variation necessary to assure a Thursday start each year.

So the date has not changed that much.

It was never held in the first week in March anytime since it's been a major, contrary to what you have claimed.
If you had read my posts you would have known that i never claimed that the Nabisco was held the first week of march. Not once did i claim that.

Second, you said that the event had been held the same week dating back to 1983. Not until i called you out on it did you say that you meant only 1983. As i said earlier, saying that th event had been held the same week dating back to 1983 also includes the years in between as well, whether or not you agree with that, it's the truth. I am glad that you clarified your statement on this to prevent further confusion for others who may read your posts on this topic.

To touch on what i hadsaid earlier, i had said that for years the Nabisco had been played in the FINAL full week of march, not the first as you claimed i had said, which makes you wrong on all accounts and me right on this. Next time please read my post before responding, it makes it much easier for all involved.

I give up. You can go and argue with yourself.

If you want to give up when you are wrong on something, and someone points that out, be my guest.

Basically the only thing they should avoid is the US Open and The Masters (which they usually do). Anybody that is going to be watching golf is going to be watching those 2.
