| Canadian Open 2010 info they are playing at the "St. Charles Country Club"...there are 3 sets of nine holes that the tournament can mix and match for their event....the "Woods", "Mackenzie" and the "Ross"....the Ross/ Mackenzie would be 3457 Yards, the "Woods/Mackenzie would be 6392 Yards, the "Woods/Ross" would be 6403 would anyone happen to know which combination they would be using and which one would be the front nine and which one would be the Back ahhh heck...since I am at it...what about the Hole Layout and Hole by hole description I would imagine that the Ladies will be playing right about the "Blue" tees....just a guess anyway...I am looking for some information....I intend to follow Wiesy and this tournament on the Live scoring site and I would love to know "what the heck could be happening" as the Kid makes Pars, Birdies, and her normal quota of Bogeys ( Just kidding WieManiacs )does anyone have any info that can help me anyway...thanks a lot...Have a good day...see ya!! |

Hi Wiefan - I was kind of "assuming" they'd be playing the Ross/Woods 9's, but who knows? I've been trying find out that info also....nothing at the St. Charles site and nothing at the CN site, but have no fear, I'll be arriving there tomorrow morning and I'll check it out for you. I imagine you've gone to the St. Charles site and they do have a course layout there - this is the link for it St. Charles Country Club - Course Map I will post tomorrow night and let you know which two they're playing.

| Senior Member | St Charles Country Club has three nine-hole layouts to choose from. According to the Winnipeg Free Press newspaper they'll be using the Mackenzie (North) and Ross (South) nines for the championship, which will play to a par 72 at 6572 yards. Kevin

Wiefan...they're playing on Ross and MacKenzie no water to speak of unless they go way off course and hit it into the river! Don't laugh...talked to a couple of caddies today and they said a few players went in there. Well, not the players, their ball. From the looks of things the MacKenzie will be the front nine and the Ross the 2nd - all the big grandstands are set up at "18" on the Ross.
