I like the Captains picks for both teams. The Euros that you mentioned Gal, Munoz etc have done nothing recently. It's a gamble for the Euros, but do you expect the ones that were not picked to suddenly play well. No. It's a gamble for Annika, but it could get exciting. A new star could be born.

US top half is strong. The battle could be with the bottom of both teams.

At least we wont have to get up in the middle of the night and early in the morning.

Britany Lang has gotten 36 points this year, if not for the penalty last year, at the US Open on Nordqvist she wouldn't be on the team.

So had the points, not much you can do about it. Thats why I say it is won and lost on the bottom end. How does Lang and others on the bottom of the US team match against the newbies on the the Euro team.

Will someone on either team may emerge as a big story. Angel Yin, Georgia Hall.

I think that it will be closer then people think.

Luckily the US team is only participating in an exhibition in order to claim the Cup.

In all seriousness, I don't know why.this is upsetting me as much as it is.

Lol.Lol.Lol.

Creamer has been shit for years, but being a BOJ (bestie of Juli) trumps talent, merit and any other criterion one would normally use to make a pick.

Spare us the 'feisty and competitive' bullshit,Juli, when trying to defend this.

You'll only embarrass yourself.

Still,I'm sure the ribbons, nails and glitter will be top notch.

I heard that Juli had some guy whack Jessica in the shins (or arm?) so that she could get her BFF on the Solheim Team.

Is that right? Sorry, but I've been a away for most of the season protesting against that idiot who occupies the White House. He's kind of ruined golf for me. You know, in addition to threatening to blow up the world.

Anyway, it's a stupid move by Juli but the other captain's picks make sense and the strength of the rest of the team should be enough for Team USA to pull out a victory based on singles play.

Ciganda and Piller should be their respective team standouts.

I'm interested in seeing who plays with who. Who sits. I think that Creamer sits alot. This is not a face painting, hair thingies team.

My concern are they too hyped up knowing they are big favorites and crazied crowds. I think trying too hard can be a problem.
