Anyway,

Prediction - US 15-13

Closer then most think. Comes down to Singles. I think US too strong in Singles.

I will be interested to see what xman5's Solheim Cup contest looks like.

Also, I think that Lang, Lewis, and Ernst will hurt the US team. I expect Lexi, Wie, and Kerr to be the major point winners for the US team. I also think that Angel Yin will be a surprise.

On the Europe side, I think that Ewalt Shadoff, Carlota Ciganda, and Georgia Hall will provide a number of points, but for Europe to win, Pettersen and Nordqvist will need to be healthy and play better than they have this year.

Was not enthused with the pairings that Julie sent out in the morning foursomes, and the US is not doing well.

Friday morning I thought the best players were Nordqvist and Kang.

It should be 2/2. Bad job by Lewis on 18. Euros looking at good chance of 5.
Just cozy it up for your partner for an easy 4 and the halve. There are no hero's on day 1. Same mistake the US makes all the time.

Euros always seem unflappable and seem to be able to always turn it on on the back 9.

Suspect the US will come out with some different teams considering who sat in the morning.

US turn around in afternoon. 4-0. My standout for the day are Salas and Kang. 2 big surprises.

Basically, other than Anna Nordqvist,Georgia Hall and the excellent, veteran, tandem of Catriona Matthew and Karine Icher,we have been absolutely shite.

The Yanks are going to win this by an embarrassing scoreline.

I doubt there will be many viewers in Europe on Sunday.
