That means she'd played with Suzann Pettersen a few times, and those few times, she always lost...so it won't bother her if she lose to her, again.

See...I speak Korean!

I think she means she's not worried about being paired with Suzann, as she is familiar with playing with Pettersen, one of the big stars on tour...

HEE YOUNG PARK

....maybe she should have been worried...

So what's playing on the Olympics today? OK, OK, I'm just kidding...kinda...you just have to tip your hat I suppose...but 5 Seoul Sisters in the Top 10, plus Yani, Ai-chan and Momoko...but no Asian players where I'd like them to be...hmmmm, I think I've seen this movie before...

MOMOKO UEDA

...basically just hoping they all play well Sunday...you never know in golf...one errant drive and a snowman by Suzann and everything changes...likely...no...and ultimately I'd rather see Song Hee or Yani have an amazing round and chase down Suzann rather than have Suzann fall apart...

SE RI PAK

...and though they are a bit away from the top 10, I'd like to see Se Ri, Wiesy and Ji Yai finish in the top 20 at least...

Suzann being Suzann or is it just too much information:

Q. How many bottles of water do you average out here?
SUZANN PETTERSEN: We play 18 holes and its like one a hole. I’d probably say 12 bottles, plus my shake, two or three before I go out. I don’t think you can drink enough to be honest. The good thing is I now actually need to go for a pee. It’s true.

Suzann has no bogey yet, through the 3rd round. Maybe those bottles of water and a bunch of peeing work for her.

That was a statement! After bogeying her second hole, Ai Miyazato plays the final 16 holes at 10-under, finishing with an overall 9-under 63...I said I wanted to see somebody chase Suzann Pettersen down rather than have Suzann fall apart and Ai-chan delivered.

This could be Ai's year. From the US Open to the end of the year in 2009, Ai-chan played 11 LPGA events, finishing in the Top 10 in 9 of them. She finished in 16th and 17th in the other two. She won the Evian Masters and notched 5 top fives. She also won a JLPGA event for good measure. By any metric, she was arguably the hottest player on tour at the end of 2009 and the heat is still on...lookout, Jiyai and Lorena...Ai Miyazato cometh...

From the Seoul Sister standpoint, for me it wasn't a good day...not because a Seoul Sister didn't win...that's fine...but because Song Hee Kim and Hee Young Park, both of whom had chances at Top 5 finishes, had mediocre rounds and slipped back...it was especially disappointing to see Hee Young playing a 2-under round and 13-under overall, which would have been Top 5, collapse with a snowman on the final hole to slip back 1-over on her round and 10-under overall.

Three of my favorites, Se Ri Pak, Michelle Wie and Jiyai Shin all missed the Top 20. Michelle and Jiyai had good final rounds...Se Ri, after two early birdies, did not...but I expect great play from all three as the year progresses.

Also happy to see Nontaya Srisawang and Stacy Prammanasudh in the Top 20, especially Nontaya. 16 grand might not turn the heads of the top players, but for Nontaya that is a great payday, probably more than most expected of her against the LPGA big girls...and to finish 18th against the best players in the world while playing in front of her home crowd should give Nontaya a confidence boost. Also getting a boost is a 30th place finish for Thai amateur Ariya Jutanugarn. The future is bright.

I still worry about Paula Creamer's withdrawal. I truly hope this is not another injury filled year.

All and all, a great start to the year, with a final round finish filled with drama featuring two of the tour's top guns. After a tumultuous 2009 for the LPGA, I have a feeling 2010 is going to be a great year.

Great to see Ai continuing her championship caliber play to start 2010.

I'll bet Suzann is really pissed now.

It's really tough when your opponent chips in for the win.

A wonderful victory for Ai Miyazato.

Also,I know she's not the saviour of women's golf,or anything, but a top twenty performance from Amanda Blumenherst,in her first start as a tour member,is worthy of a mention.

She also gets her first Solheim points and is 26th in the standings...

Indeed...for Suzann...20-under and only two bogeys all week...both in the final round where she shot 2-under...and she loses?
