Heh. You may change your mind with that heat.... thats if it does not rain this time around. :-)

I wonder how good this new rookie well do, in the first LPGA sanctioned event of the year. She, (Amanda Blumenherst), is one of the longest boomers of the new rookies, if she makes a strong mark here, that ROY race well sure get a fast kick start. If she wins this event.... yowsa. A little article from over there in Thailand.

And this I find a wie bit funny.... in the next event on the LPGA calendar, (HSBC Womens Chanpionship), and on the official website, they have Phil all over the front page. Ha... maybe I am missing something here. :-)

...I actually got a kick out of this guy's writing style...I am excited to see the LPGA in Thailand...but is the event "mouthwatering"...and "the Mexican gave the Pink Panther a few golfing lessons"...and "the presence of Ochoa, Creamer and other skillful or attractive players"...hmmmm, just say what you mean...don't hold back...

...plus the misspellings...actually quite common in translated Asian articles...but at least get the title of the article spelled correctly..."umissable"?

The season isn't 24 hours old and the Pink Panther is already injured?!

In Pain

Wow...I hope it's not going to be that kind of season again for Paula...

...on a more upbeat note...they're off! It's great to see the season begin...an article I read in a US publication actually went out on a limb and said MJ Hur could be the breakthrough Korean player this year building on last year's win...even though I am a Seoul Sister fan, I brushed that off...didn't even post it to the Seoul Sister forum (I probably should have)...now one round does not a season make...but I'm going to find that article and just save it in case the author is right...

...I posted a few more pictures of Michelle Wie, Suzann Pettersen, Ai Miyazato, Paula Creamer and Hee Young Park from Pattaya here:

...it's just easier for me to post the link than repost and thumbnail the pics...I'm lazy...

Waggle Room's Ryan Ballengee did a webcam interview with Wendy Ward...this is touted as the debut of this so I assume there will be more of these webcam interviews throughout the year...obviously, I hope for some of my favorites like Grace Park or Se Ri Pak to be interviewed...

...great job by Mr. Ballengee and thanks to Wendy for taking time from the Honda PTT LPGA Thailand tournament to do this...

I also posted some more pics of Paula Creamer, MJ Hur, Michelle Wie, Natalie Gulbis and Lorena Ochoa here:

HEE YOUNG PARK

Ah...nothing like a bogey free 66 to rocket you closer to a chance at a nice shiny new Rolex. But, of course, there is a long way to go and Suzann Pettersen has created a bit of daylight between herself and the rest of the field. Rocket has to keep her in sight...really try to be no more than 2 behind going into round 4, if not better.

AI-CHAN

Besides Suzann, one of the hottest players on the planet the second half of last year, Ai Miyazato, is right over her shoulder...I'm sure Ai-chan would love to steal the POY spotlight away from Ochoa and Shin. Song Hee Kim and Yani Tseng are also quietly lurking with two rounds to play.

SUZANN PETTERSEN

MJ Hur...yikes...three bogeys in the first six holes...round 3...forget about round 2...go out...have fun...recapture the mojo!

NONTAYA SRISAWANG

...on a personal note, while Virada, whom I somehow convinced myself to put in my Pakpicker (that's our tournament contest over on the SS forum), is not near the top, I am happy to see Nontaya Srisawang and Stacy Prammanasudh play well in Thailand...

SE RI PAK

...on another personal note...although I left her off my traditional lucky 7th spot, opting instead for Virada, a Top 10 to start the year would just be lovely for Se Ri...hope she plants herself there in round 3 and then finishes strong in round 4...

MICHELLE WIE

...and Wiesy...a top 10 start would be equally lovely...

...I, and others, have posted a lot more pictures here:
Seoul Sisters Golf // View topic - Honda PTT LPGA Thailand 2010

...pre tourney presser with Lorena, Michelle and Paula...

I'm loving that leaderboard : my ten pound each-way,at 40/1,on Hee Young Park is looking like a decent bet;and two of my favourite golfers, the divine Momo and Ai Miyazato are right up there.

Hey,there's nobody annoying in the top ten, either.

Which is nice...

From the interviews:
Q. What do you think of Suzann Pettersen?
HEE YOUNG PARK: I've played with her a few times. I'm not worried about it.
What the hell does that mean?
