![]() ![]() | Young Phenom Na Yeon Choi
from my blog: 2012 US Women’s Open Champion Na Yeon Choi As A Young Phenom | Fairways and Forehands ![]() Before Na Yeon Choi was on the LPGA winning a Vare Trophy, Money List title or the US Women’s Open, she was a phenom in her native South Korea. The following video shows various clips of NYC including, at the end, her win as a 17 year old amateur at the KLPGA’s ADT CAPS in 2004, when she held off Se Ri Pak in the final round. She had two birdies and an eagle on the first three holes of the final round. You get to see the eagle she flew in from the fairway. For a full, detailed description of the final round, check out HappyFan’s report here: Amateur Na Yeon Choi Wins ADT CAPS, Holds Off Se Ri Pak
