Poor Virada Nirapathpongporn

She was having a pretty bad season and then she was right up there at the Navistar and looked a shoe in to win lots of money and secure her tour card.
She was at -9 and then she shoots a +10, 82 in the 4th round.
What a bummer!

She will probably be going back to q-school and that 82 probably won't have done her confidence much good.

Virada was 13th last tournament on the Futures Tour...up to ninth this week...

She's coming around after missing so much time with injury...keep up the improvement, Oui!! You can do it!

...a video from Q-school...not a big Virada following here, but for me, I will always follow my fellow Bangkok baby...although being a luk kreung like Tiger Woods, Tammy Duckworth and Johnny Damon, I don't look like I was born in Bangkok...but I was...will be going back to Thailand in the fall...is it too late for dual citizenship? Where's that darn birth certificate, mom!

Getting back to Virada...I wonder how much time she has spent outside of Thailand...I ask because I obviously have spent a lot of time around Thai people who speak English as a second language and even if they are fluent, I can usually tell a Thai person from their accent...it's very distinctive...to my ears, at least...but Virada I would not have placed just listening to her speak English...
