Nelly Korda

Seriously how amazing has she been this year?! I can see her winning at least one tournament before the end of the season

I don't know about winning, but she has to be a Solheim pick.

I do not want to see Creamer, Pressel (my girl) or Wie.

Just as I as I kill Creamer she is tied for the lead going into the final round.

What does a win do to Solheim?

You are off-topic, but Creamer would jump from #21 in Solheim points to 14th and would still be more than 70 points out of 8th place.

My concern is that she is a wild card pick by her buddy Inkster.

She relates to Korda because Korda should be one of the picks, since it is unlikely that she gets an automatic.

Nelly Korda is in 28th place in Solheim points and ranked 110th in Rolex points. At this point there are a lot of women who deserve to be picked by Juli before Nelly. You're probably going to say that Michelle Wie shouldn't be picked either - she's currently 11th in Solheim points!

As it stands right now my first pick is Nelly. She can never make it on points because she will only have a half a year. Right now her play is above anyone who is 11,12,13,14 15,16, etc.

Yes it is a bold pick.

Now she has to keep it up the next 2 months. If she does, she is my pick.

The second pick is tough. I don't know at this point. Wie played very well this week. She has been hot and cold. Good rounds then bad rounds. This week finally a full tournament. Most likely my second pick, but still a little early. I also think that she does play well in Solheim.

Danielle Kang is someone I would consider as well, but I would put Wie well ahead of Kang.

Mo Martin, Lizette Salas, Jennifer Song. I just don't see them as playing better then Nelly.

Now if I can just remove Angela Stanford, but she will make the team. Her record in this is just so darn bad.

Don't you want to see a Korda/Korda team.

Late edit. Now I see Korda did not make the cut.

Lets see how she bounces back.

I know you are all enamored with Nelly, but at the moment, she is not even the top American rookie. Nelly is currently in third place in the race for Rookie of the Year, American Angel Yin is second. Angela has also earned more Solheim Cup points.

There is still a long way to go until the team is determined. Nine tournaments remain, including three majors, so there are a lot of Solheim points to be earned.
