Nancy Lopez Memorial Honoree

When I was a kid, Nancy Lopez was the first women's golfer I could identify. A lot of that had to do with being married to Ray Knight. As an adult, and especially as a Seoul Sister fan, I have developed a soft spot for this great Hall of Famer. When Se Ri Pak was new to the tour, struggling with a new language and a new country, one of the players who took Se Ri under her wing and really checked in on her was Nancy Lopez. No surprise that Nancy did the introduction at Se Ri's Hall of Fame induction. So Nancy will always be high on my list for what she has done and continues to do both on and off the course. Congratualtions to Ms. Lopez on being the 2011 Memorial Honoree.

Nancy was out practicing at Panther Creek today. She said that she is working on a one-piece swing, which seemingly is a drastic change.

Good grief!! "Drastic" change? What an understatement!

Why on earth would she try to change what has worked for her over her career....at least at this late point? Whatever.
