The game of golf at the highest levels must be played by all golfers from the same tees and if a particular golfer is not able to compete from those tees, whatever they are, then that golfer has no business being there.

No one (except a few people here) wants to watch handicapped Pro events.

Now you see Xman When you say "no one but a few people here" you take in the whole part of the world that watch golf. You can't know if there aren't other people in the world that like or don't like it. Your statement as a matter of logic is wrong. It is possible that in the world more may like it then don't. ![]()

Greg Norman missed the cut at the Omega Masters with scores of 75 and 75, T144 out of 155.

CT, I think we've established gxer is a chauvinist where golf is concerned, I'm sure he'd terrified a woman would actually beat him if playing from the same tees. Now he's telling you your posts are too long! However, he can't have it both ways. Annika played from the same tees as the men at the Colonial and he didn't like that either, because he didn't think she should be playing. Go figure. |

Since they, women, have a protected tour, IMO, if they want to jump from the frying pan into the fire of the PGA TOUR they need to do it the way men have done. First of all, a commitment to play on the PGA TOUR, not as a lark but for real. Second, stop competing against women. Third, qualify, either through money earned on exemptions, or PGA TOUR q-school, Anything less, and they can stay the hell away from the PGA TOUR. The PGA TOUR doesn't need them to survive. The PGA TOUR has done very well without women members and will continue to do so.

Imagine, the women having been smarter than the men in protecting their tour!

I don't believe it was ever meant to be the mens tour only.
