| The remaining 4 exemptions are: Evian Masters 7/22-7/25 LPGA Women's Canadian Open 8/26-8/29 LPGA P&G Northwest 9/10-9/12 LPGA Navistar 10/7-10/10 Three of the above events have rather large purses, the Evian Masters @ $3,250,000, the women's Canadian Open @ $2,250,000 and the P&G @ $2,000,000, the remaining exemption, the Navistar is only $1,300,000. My question is, do you think the kid will earn her LPGA tour card in these 4 events? Maybe this will help you decide. In 2009, 80th place on the money list was Irene Cho with $118,302. There is less prize money available this year than last, so let's guess that 80th place will be somewhere around $100,000 this year. 4 events, $100,000, an average of $25,000 per event. PS: This post is incorrect, Lexi only has 2 exemptions that count towards earning a LPGA tour card, the last 2. PS2: Not only is this post incorrect but the post I made saying Lexi had 2 exemptions is also incorrect, the final number is 3 per the LPGA tour. The Evian Masters doesn't count but the other 3 do.

If the parents sign off on it an under age child can get married. What's the difference?

The question is not about an age exemption.

Entirely possible, she won $72000+ yesterday, unless she misses a cut or two or finishes way down the list.

Earnings in the women's US Open doesn't count towards earning a card.

She is only allowed 6 exemptions, she has used 2 already, the Nabisco and the ShopRite.
