Or maybe a private plane down payment for Yani? How much does a private plane cost, anyway? I don't mean a G-V or anything. Something smaller...enough for a player, a caddy, two friends/parents and equipment...

...ok...I looked it up...

Determine the size and flying range you'll need. Light jets ($3 million to $8 million) can take 5 to 8 passengers roughly 2,000 miles (3,219 km); midsize executive jets ($9 million to $16 million) can take up to 9 passengers from 2,000 to 3,000 miles (3,219 to 4,828 km); and large executive jets ($17 million to $45 million) can carry 12 passengers more than 4,000 miles (6,437 km). The more popular makers and models are: Learjet, Boeing Business Jet, Cessna, Gulfstream and Dassault Falcon.

...for what I'm proposing for Yani or other players, it looks like she would need $3 million minimally...don't know how much she would need to put down...for a G-V (Gulfstream 5)...that's in the large executive jet price range...as it can carry 19 passengers and is fully intercontinental...that could run in the high 50 million dollar to low 60 million dollar range...

No need, really, to buy a jet and be saddled with the costs generated when the plane is not in the air,,,parking, maintenance, pilot(s), etc.
Netjets is the best way to go and can be written off.

That would make more sense, indeed! I didn't think of NetJets even though I've seen their commercial dozens of times. I guess that commercial wasn't really aimed at me! Lol!

I wonder who among the Asian players is tops in endorsements. I'd have to think Yani owns Taiwan, and Jiyai, Na Yeon are big in Korea but maybe it's Ai Miyazato.

Of course, endorsements are not a meritocracy. I would not be surprised if Hee Kyung Seo makes more in endorsements in Korea than many top LPGA-based (prior to 2011) Koreans.

I'd be curious how Yani is doing off the course. I'll try to dig around for Taiwanese commercials featuring Yani.

I have no data at all to back this up, but I'd guess Ai Miyazato.
