Yani among the 100 Most Influential People

World No.1 made it to this year's 100 Most Influential People in the World. Yani's bio was written by Annika, which I think is very nice!

Here's the link: Yani Tseng - 2012 TIME 100: The Most Influential People in the World - TIME

I've no idea what criteria they use,but it's a pretty cool list to find yourself on...

Thanks for the post, Shampi! Hopefully, this will help raise awareness of Yani's excellence and the LPGA tour itself! It can't do anything but bring more attention! :)

It's an interesting enough list, even if the title is inaccurate.

I mean, how could Hillary Clinton be more influential than Obama or Castro or Hugo Chavez, just to name a few other socialists?

If Obama is in the same group as the Castro brothers, how come Obama insists on keeping Cuba out of American International Conferences such as the one last week in Colombia? (All other countries of the continent, except Canada may boycott the next meeting if Cuba is vetoed by the USA). Trying to keep the Cuban from trading with the rest of the world has only resulted in broken expectations for millions of Cubans. Generations of Cubans have suffered needless poverty due to the senseless, shameful efforts by the USA to get Cuba to change its political and economic views. Why does Obama, a socialist according to you, punish Cuba?

And if Chavez of Venezuela ever hears that his economic and political views are similar to those of Obama, the poor guy will probably die from another acute cancer cell attack.

Calling Obama a socialist is inane.
