Kraft Nabisco Contest

How about a change to the contest for the Kraft Nabisco since it's a major?

How's this:

-30 point bonus if you pick the correct winner in the bonus contest, instead of -20.

+10 point penalty if your player misses the cut, instead of +5.

Everything else stays the same: bonus pick is still an option, splitting of points still holds, etc.

This would just be for majors, not regular tournaments.

The judge says it's OK so the change has been made.

Suggestion

Because Lorena is playing so well, perhaps NOT penalizing winner picks that don't make the cut too much would encourage picks for others. Safe bets are a little boring.

I'll be playing whatever the rules are. It increases my awareness of how the girls are playing. I like looking for that 'Dark Horse' passing everyone at the finish.

TAKE CARE!!!

The idea is raise the stake on the bonus pick. But I've also raised the points on players finishing 1st to 5th from -10 to -20.

This will make the effect of point splitting more even, but still give the added major bonus.

I'm not sure everyone agrees that Lorena is a safe pick to win. And, remember, points are split among all the contestants who pick the same player.

Also, participation in the bonus round is optional. That's another strategy.

I'll have the pairings up soon, but a question. Since they are going off in twos for the first 2 rounds, would we wanna keep those twosomes (and a virtual pairing for round 2) and increase the number to 20 picks, and then go back to threesomes and 15 picks for rounds 3 and 4?
