I have been trying to find something that explains the asterisk by some names with no luck. Could you please explain?

It usually has no meaning. I basically do cut and pasting between the LPGA web site, Excel and the site here. Sometimes when I do the past here it puts a * on the end. Some weird html thing. Usually I try to delete them.

Sometimes the * are real. On the LPGA final field list the Sponsers exemption has a *. In this case Amanda Blumenhurst had a * in the LPGA list.

But basically it means nothing in my pairings.

Could you post the listing as an Excel file? Basically I copy and paste into excel and then select my picks. It would help just to download your file and select my team.
