Waiting for Jiyai Shin's fans to call for xman's head because she wasn't included in the contest ....

waiting ....

Guess it's just fans of one specific player who can't understand mathematically-based contests.

I love Jiyai... think she's so cool, and a real trooper, lots of courage, and she plays a mean game... I looked for her name, but by the criteria X chose, she didn't make it... Next time, I hope.

We DO know who will be playing this week in the contest, and who he'll pick to win it. I can understand really liking a player, whoever it is, but I don't understand always picking him/her to win because of that. I root for Yani, I root for Jiyai, but it doesn't make sense to pick them to win every time out...

For what's it worth if you want the below observation to influence your picks.

I was at the course today.
The rough has not really been pinched into the fairways and the trees really don't come into play much, if at all.

So? Help me out. Your suggestions? I was thinking of A. Muñoz, S. Lewis, the Mexican lady (Sheridan), C. Choi, A Nordqvist and Gulbis, but.... xman purposely kept them out. Help me out. I am one of those thousands of weirdos who love the LPGA and go "loco" when the "hotties" are out.

Ok....I`ll spell it out.....the bombers who tend to be not as accurate off the tee won`t be punished.
The pros would have to hit an absolutely brutal tee shot on the tree lined back 9 to find the woods....and if they do which is not likely...they might as hit a provisional...the woods are thick bush.

The course is quite spread out....hard to find a spot where you can see 4 tees or greens stacked close.....the back nine is virtually impossible to cut across holes....the woods are so thick.

As many know...the gals are so much more attractive and smaller in real life....unbelievable how some who are likely a size 0-2 can smoke the ball so far and high.

For a Monday....there was a respectable fan base....hope there are huge crowds this weekend.
Only 40% of the pros were at the course today.

The pros were happy to see AJ Eathorne....she `s doing a 1 time loop for Alena Sharp.
On TV AJ predicted a -8 to -9 winning score.
I say -11 to -12......there are only three par 5`s
