But the bottom line is that it is legal. They can do it too. It seems to me he is smarter then those guys.

If the old tiger did this we would call him a genuis for knowing the rules.

Just like getting 20 guys to move a boulder out of the way is not cheating, it was legal and we all hail it.

Someone trying to make headlines.

Practically speaking all PGA players cannot get and use Ping Clubs. Therefore the rule does not apply equally to all. Sounds like the playing field isn't level.

Every club in their bag doesn't have to be a sponsors club.
They could all use old ping wedges if they could find them.

These guys are a bunch of cry babies. I think we should all get together and have a pity party for them.

Mickelson doesn't come out of this looking good.

Finding ways to circumvent the new groove rules, whilst perfectly legal,is contrary to the intentions of the rule change.

Is he scared to play with the new wedges ?

This needs to be sorted out quickly...

You can't cheat if you play within the rules. Using the old Pings is well within the rules.
Someone should explain to Scott McCarron that the "spirit of the game" is playing within the rules. He should also be told to keep his mouth shut unless a rule has been broken.
I'm sick of grown men whining in sports.
