Blue - are you ever out of the ballpark on this one.

You of all people here, shout out that we should verify our facts before condemning something, or someone, on assumptions.

Come on now.... what do you really know of Korean society and the Korean golf ladies, then what you see of them playing golf over here. Not much I think, yet you assume greatly here.... you should eat your own words, especially when you follow them yourself not.

Even MP, (who is the more should I say Victorian of us), disagrees with you. You got a thing about this don't you, maybe a chip on your shoulder about Korean players?

You say USA players would only do this as a joke, man are you living in an old past world. If the US golf ladies could or would set up something like this, to let their hair down, they would do it at a drop of a hat.

Your hung up Blue.... got over it.... there is a real world out there, and they like to have fun when ever they can get it. Life is hard for many, and a little fun once in a while, is never a bad thing.

Your know if the US gals did let it out like the Korean gals, their tension when playing would not be so great, and their ball playing probably would be a lot better. For then for them, golf would be fun to play again. Just a viewed opinion of mine.

So try not to think like Scrooge this holiday time, who knows, you might just find you like letting your hair down once in a while to. Joke or not, as you see it.

And as for Jiyai not looking like 'your so-called beauty queen', still photos often never show the real person as a live video does. Jiyai has a dignity and grace, most ladies never know. Try a live video of her and others.... at this same celebration, and you well see what I mean.

If your wanting to be a Moderator my lady friend, I think you should dig a little deeper into things... and yourself as well... if you truly want to do this job well.

Just my opinionated view on what you were saying above. There are many things l like about the way you think and act. But in this small area though, I think you are wrong and misleading and misguiding yourself. A case of cannot see the trees for the forest, methinks maybe.

Anyways that video link I was talking about. Hey - Merry Christmas eh, this is a time to lighten up. ;-)

MP always disagrees with me.

As I said in post #1, I expected most of you to disagree with me or just not get it, and the number one reason I expected you all to give was that it's all fun and the girls don't mind.

I don't always disagree with you. Mostly about politics and whether or not Tiger owes us anything. In this case, the girls sure seem to be enjoying themselves.

Again, these ladies are in the entertainment business. How is this any different than the Academy Awards, or the Grammy's? It's entertainment. Yes, I know they're athletes, but it's still entertainment.

By the way, geentee, I'm hardly Victorian. In fact, I'm pretty far from it.

You didn't expect me to mention Camilo Villegas' ass, though.

What if they really didn't mind ? What if they did think it was a bit of harmless fun with no derogatory implications ?

Would they be wrong to think that ?

And,really, what objectifies female golfers more, a dance routine based on a song by the Korean version of the Spice Girls,or posing naked on a golf cart ? I know the latter was not LPGA-sanctioned,but you can bet your life they were happy with the publicity.

Anyway, for all we know, the Korean men's tour might have an end of season shindig where they all grease up and do stuff with balloon animals.

Or not...

Sex, Beauty Pageants and He-en and She-en,
Blue, Now come on these girls aren’t being exploited. They didn’t have to participate in this.
Girls in America train all their lives to win beauty contest, to become cheer-leaders etc.
Ain’t nobody twisting any arms.
Women get breast enlargements to show off. They get tummy tucks plenty of other enhancements just to show off.
The makeup industry makes billions from women every year again no one is twisting arms.
The Amish are in the minority in this country. Now it is showing what you got, why is that?
You don’t want men to be men then don’t show what you have.
It is all about the mating dance and you know it.
Women like being thought of as beautiful and sexy and when men respond accordingly they are dirty old men scumbags and *****mongers.
Enough already you don’t want me to look keep it covered up. They make loose cloths.
And I consider myself one of the nice guys

One thing you are right for sure on, and that is you have the right to your own opinion, whether I or any other agrees with it or not. Even though I disagree with your view, I do respect your right to say as you feel or think, thats one of the things I like about you, you say whats on you mind and are not often pulled along by herd crowd general thinking.

Now that is cute. And its look more and more like the the PGA well have to come up with some kind of song & dance to retain their fans, after this Tiger bomb shell.

And yes Vgas's ass does look good, even from a man's piont of view.... luck dog. :-)
