JLPGA Swings In Slo Mo (a few LPGAers, too)

...a YouTube member, naturalgolf1958, posted these cool slo mo swing videos...you can really see their positioning from address to follow through...there are a lot of videos, men and women players, but I chose those who either are on the LPGA, might one day play the LPGA or I've posted about in the JLPGA posts...mostly Japanese, some Koreans like Shin and Song, and a few Aussies, Campbell and Durdin...

note: the one of Ai-chan is not from NG1958...

Chie Arimura

BKB Could you get me a little more info on Chie A.
Driving distance etc. She has won 4 times on the JPLPGA am I correct on that.
Do you think she might have the game for the LPGA?

Chie Arimura is a 6 time JLPGA Winner (5 times in 2009). They don't show driving distance for the JLPGA for some reason...even our ss.com forum JLPGA expert, The Constructivist, can't find them...maybe they don't keep them...

Vitals:

DOB: 11/22/1987
Hometown: Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture

Sponsors: Bridgestone (ball, clubs, shoes), VIVA Heart (apparel)

Some other Chie stats...2009 JLPGA rank in parentheses

Prize Money: ¥ 140,804,810 (3rd)

Scoring Average: 70.7463 (3rd)

Par Rate: 87.3964 (5th)

Birdies Per Round: 3.6 (3rd)

Putt Average: 1.7792 (4th)

GIR: 70.6468 (5th)

Although driving distance stats are not available, her performances in 2009 in fields that included Sakura Yokomine, Shinobu Moromizato and occasionally Ji Yai Shin and Ai Miyazato suggest that she could play on the LPGA.

But the red flag is that she went from a 72.8272 scoring average in 2007 and 73.1900 in 2008 to this year cutting two and half strokes off her previous year average. Is this a sign of her game coming together or is it a one year peak that will go back down next year?

Paula Creamer has a weird golf swing. Good luck with that back when you're 50, Paula.
