In saying that,I would still take the 2010 team (yours) to finish with more career wins than the 2004 team. The '04 team has a 9-0 lead at the moment. We'll have to dig this thread up in 25 years' time and see if my prediction was true. Of course, six years from now, it might just be the Maguire twins and my favourite Asians winning everything in sight. An interesting footnote (well,to me,anyway) about the 2008 Curtis Cup.Again, you had some talent on that team : Am-Blum,Mina Harigae, the criminally-overlooked,and magnificent,Stacy Lewis. Our team had the mellifluously named, eighteen year old,Florentyna Parker. Two weeks' ago,she had her maiden victory on the LET,in Holland. She's hoping to become a dual Curtis/Solheim player... ![]() Pax Vobiscum Saint-Just X |

It really is impossible to judge the quality of the 2010 team isn't it since it's all potential. Jennifer Song had the best amateur career. Alexis Thompson was the best at a young age. Jennifer Johnson seems to be the most focused and dedicated. Kim Kim probably has the most natural talent but lacks a lot of other things necessary to succeed. And that's just the Americans. Who turns out to have a good pro career is anyone's guess.

Like all child prodigies, she could prove to be a star, a bust or somewhere in between.
For her sake, I hope she does well, because she just put a whole lot of eggs in one basket and bet a lot of her future on golf at a very young age. |
