Futures Tour - Vicky Hurst

Vicky Hurst has won the Futures Tour Tourney in
Decatur, Il. There was a rain delay at about 4PM.

I think that this will put Vicky in 1st place on the
2008 money list.

Hope she plays well at the Wegmans.

Way to go Vicky!

Right you are asitlies. Vicky is #1 on the Futures money list now. Also, she earned an exemption into the State Farm Classic LPGA event with this win.

She should be going into the Wegman's with some good vibes.

That makes her failure to qualify for the US Women's Open all the more puzzling.
Guess she just had one of those days where things didn't click.

That is what makes golf so interesting and a game no single person can dominate completely. Everyone has good rounds and bad, the best just have less bad rounds.

Since Vicky is playing in the Wegmans this week,
I will post that she is celebrating her birthday
today. Just graduated high school a few weeks
back and now she turns 18 years old.

Happy Birthday Vicky from an old fan who
met you at the Duramed tourney in McAllen, Tex.

Vicky might have felt a little more pressure to perform this week after her win on the junior tour. There is no doubt the talent is there and she will be a contender on the senior tour in the future.

Nobody performs well on the main stage until they have a few rehearsals under their belt.
