| Duramed Tournament in McAllen,Texas writing report so I'll try to do as best as I can. Arrived at noon on Friday. As I walked in at the practice range, I noticed Vickie Hurst coming toward me. She smiled, said hi and I asked her how she was doing. She was very polite and I asked how she felt about last week (Lost in playoff in Louisiana.) She only said I learned a lot. This is my week. Well she did win. Shooting 67, 67, 64. (-18, new record) It was a good tournament overall. Talked to some other golfer that I had met last year. Most of them are trying very hard. A few do not have very much enthusiasm. Met some new golfers from Mexico. Ana Alicia Malagon, Tanya Dergal, Marcela Leon, Sofia Sheridan, Lili Alvarez. Also Cristina Baena was there, she is Marisa Baena's sister. Briana Vega is still some what indeferent to fans as she was last year. Cindy Figg-Currier was playing this week. I mostly stayed around #9 and #18. Not too many people, mostly family members or sponsors of the golfers. Thats about it. I'll do it again next year. |

Thanks asitlies. Good report. It's nice to hear about these players who we'll see in the future on the LPGA.

Nice report, Asitlies. You do a better job than you give yourself credit for.

In my news letter from Duramed, Vickie Hurst has accepted an exemption to play in this week's LPGA in Oklahoma. She was a joy to watch. Hope to see a lot of her on TV. asitlies |
