Suzann Pettersen

Congratulations to Suzann for her outstanding four rounds in the LPGA Championship this past weekend.

According to her scorecards, posted on LPGA.com, Suzann carded one eagle, 22 birdies, eight bogies, and one double bogey for all four rounds.

With this, her second win of this season, Suzann has surpassed Lorena Ochoa by two points in the Rolex Player of the Year rankings.

Is it time to create a player folder for this rising star?

Absolutely it is time to make a folder for the Worlds 4th ranked woman
golfer.

I've always been a Suzann fan because of her drive, determination and he fire. She's playing awfully well and she is going to push Lorena every step of the way for that POY.

I agree she deserves her own board given her achievements so far this year, but I?m not sure there will be much activity on it. Had the old Suzann had this success I think she would have garnered huge interest. She used to be a John McEnroe but now she has turned into Bjorn Borg. That said, I?m delighted with her success. I think she is going to try to emulate Tiger and focus on the big events and she will be very successfull, maybe another major and or Evian and ADT ............ and there still will be 100 times more ink used on Michelle Wie before the end of the year who will probably do little or nothing.......... then again Paris Hilton will get 1000 times more ink than Michelle for being nothing more than a cute, drunken clothes hanger !

The biggest difference I've noticed is that Suzann got rid of the pause in her backswing. She's much smoother and is striking the ball extremely well.

As far as having her own folder, it's a great idea, but I think shortcake is right about it not getting many posts. By the way, a great description of Paris Hilton.

I always like Borg a lot more than McEnroe. I even remember turning the channel when he has playing.

Also I don't think Paris Hilton is particularly cute (especially when she sobbing!)

I do like Suzann though, the only thing that bothers me is she keeps saying she'd rather be skiing.

I didn't realize Suzann kept saying that.

As a rule, I mistrust people who enjoy tying two toothpicks to the undersides of their feet so they can go shooshing down some snow-covered mountain.

She's very smooth now. She had a swing before where she stopped about waist high in the backswing and then completed her swing. Very strange looking at that point. I agree with you now. She's definitely rhythmic at this point in her career.

Suzann keeps playing like this past weekend and for sure she'll be the Player Of The Year. Who cares about her swing, she has the good looks and now the great smile of a champion. ......keep up the great year !!!!

While I agree that Suzann's new mellow attitude may very well be helping her golf game, I kiinda miss the fiery Suzann.

I was hoping she'd drop the F bomb at some point last week.

I'll never forget that entertaining interview after her singles match at the 2002 Solheim.
