A wiefan apology

Hi ya folks....just got home from work and it took me almost an Hour to read all of the new stuff and posts...sorry for my lateness in this post...since I am already apologizing for my tardiness...I might as well continue the trend

To all of those Anti-Carolyn Posters...."You were ALL Correct and I was wrong in my support of Carolyn"....ahhh shucks, I was sort of seeing the "Handwriting on the wall" and I was kinda certain that my Carolyn Bullets were not going to arrive....but like a diligent soldier that I am....I still waited..all for naught it seems....anyway...."You Anti-Carolyn Posters were correct in her ouster, as it seems like the Board of Directors and players saw it like you did....you all were correct and I was incorrect"

anyway...I am in agreement with Whistling Straight in that we should give this new Interm Commissioner and her staff "the benefit of the doubt" when it comes to making new decisions....there is NO NEED to already put her through the NEGATIVE shredder of posts....heck folks, she just got the job...Give the Lady a Break

as far as Rusty getting a link from the LPGA....I REALLY Doubt it...I don't think the LPGA WANTS nor NEEDS negative stuff being said about their Organization and or some players....we all know what happened to the Old LPGA Discussion site...too bad

anyway folks...I still have some chores to do and I have to go to work early tomorrow Morning...so I will end my post here....by the way....I really didn't think that anyone was REALLY interested in my apology....but I figured that if you folks were Brave and strong enough to read and listen to all of my Pro-Carolyn stuff....then you deserved to have an apology from me

anyway....all of you have a good evening....hmmm....I think I will keep all of my "Go Carolyn Go" buttons....someday it could be worth something on Ebay....hmmm....anyway...see ya!!!

there's nothing to apologize for wiefan. you were one of the only posters here to support bivens till the end. there was nothing wrong with you being pro bivens or for others being anti bivens. that's the great thing about living in america, we have the right to choose who and what we support. you were not all wrong for your support for her just like anti bivens posters were not all right in their judgement of her. anyway have a good one.

Wiefan, I have a new- found respect for you. It takes a big person to admit they were wrong.

Hi Wiefan -- No need to apologize for anything. We each had our own opinion. Let's see how Evans does and, more importantly, how the search for the permanent commissioner proceeds. There's no way to go but up now.

Wiefan,

IMO, Bivens was not the only problem.
The LPGA tour needed to clean house, including the current board of directors. I understand you can't get rid of everyone all at once but hopefully the new commissioner will be clever enough to get hired by the current board of directors but smart enough to be able, overtime, to rid the LPGA tour of every last one of them.

Thumbs up

You're a good man, Wiefan. Diverse opinions are just that....no need to apologize for anything. I'm happy to be able to refer to you as "my friend".

Wiefan, as I've written to you in the past, your posts motivated me to contribute to this forum on many occasions! I now look forward to joining forces with you in support of the "new" LPGA and it's such a refreshing outlook to be able to do so. We all spent a lot of time and energy both defending and criticizing the leadership so hopefully now we can direct our thoughts in a positive manner. We all share a common trait - passion for the LPGA!

WF - just remember snowballs rolling down hill. We've gotten used to them in cold Canada. :-)
