Can't speak for Blue, gxer....but I can assure you that I do not care what the gender is of the next LPGA commish. I want the best person for the job...period.

Male...female..... or Cow.....or Bull.

Note: See how handy those smiley icons are? You don't even need to say anything!

In this case, feel free to speak for me, too. It's unfreaking believable how gxer manages to turn every issue into a gender war. I'm tempted to say he's really, really, insecure about his masculinity, but that would be mean and unfair.

Blue,

Bivens said she wanted a female to replace her, you and Lojo have picked a certain female to replace her, so if the LPGA tour powers that be pick that certain female, the three of you should be very happy.

Let's break that down. If the person both LoJo and I picked is picked by the LPGA, all three of (me, LoJo, and the person we picked) should be very happy.

Well, duh.

That person just happens to be a female.

If that person were a man, all three of us would also be happy.

What does Carolyn Bivens have to do with this?

Let me repeat that post for you. Notice it starts with Bivens. The assumption is that you would realize that the happy people I am talking about are you, Lojo and Bivens.

Sorry, your logic was twisted in the first example. You had four players: me, LoJo, the prefered candidate of Lo and me, and Bivens, and wanted to select three from that list.

From this example, yes, LoJo and I would be happy because our preferred candidates would be happy.

If you are interpreting Bivens' quote correctly, she'd be happy with any female candidate.

I disagree with Bivens on that. I would not be happy with any female candidate. Condolleezza Rice, for example, would be terrible in my opinion. Bivens would like her. I would not. Same with Nancy Lopez, Jan Stephenso, Annika Sorenstam or Juli Inkster. I oppose all of them. Not because they're women. Becuase they are not qualified.

A famous quote from Rodney King during the L.A. Riot, to live by:

"Can't we all just along?"

But this is fun. This is what makes me come back here all the time!

Blue,

OK, sorry if my logic twisted your comprehension, which it didn't of course, you are just being, well, yourself.

Gosh I hope the LPGA tour hires a guy, I can't wait to see what you and Lojo have to say about him.
