LPGA will weather financial storm, says Tour VP

Hmmmm.... Sounds to me like someone's blowin' smoke.

Well I just got my commemerative Annika Hologram Ticket for the ADT. It still is a great Idea for a Tournament. I will be at this years 4th round.

Anyone else going.

LPGA will weather financial storm, says Tour VP

What do you want him to say. It will be a tough time for all, I highly doubt the LPGA will die. There may be a little contraction this year and maybe next, but I would not call the undertaker.

See, the thing is that if a sponsor truly believes in a cause or field it sponsors it will stick with them through thick and thin. The thing with the LPGA is I have never seen any sport where sponsorship of something is kind of seen as an afterthought.

The PGA is having the same problem. They are losing sponsers left and right. This is true over their three tours, PGA, Nationwide and Seniors.

The difference is that they still have their large Tiger TV contract.

ADT is owned by TYCO. There business is getting hit hard. Though don't shed a tear for the management, even those not in jail (and those put away should rot for the rest of there lives). Feel bad for the employees. Remember they moved the company out of the US to Bermuda to avoid US taxes.
