I also think that Juli isn't one of the really "colorful" characters on Tour. She's relatively quiet, goes about her business like a true professional, and isn't very controversial. Bloopy and Buzzer are right. She has respect, but her fans are relatively quiet.

Can Wie "WowWie" us?

hi there,
all i quickly wanted to say was that, in the up & coming tournament in Korea, i was wondering to see if wie could "WowWie" us by making the cut against the men! so what do you people think...? can see actually make the cut? or will she fall again at the first hurdle? now in this new topic, i don't want it to be all guns blazing & everyone trying to rip eachother apart. i just want to see your views on this..?

It's a pretty weak field, she might do it. And the fans in Korea will be going crazy for her. Then again, the stakes are pretty high and with each cut she fails to make against the boys, her attempts to do so seem more and more silly.

Went pretty close last year in Korea (I think?) bogeying last 2 holes to miss out - she is probably a stronger player now - I would like to see her do it. Then get back to the LPGA Tour :)

Truer words have never been spoken... If you try something and it proves difficult and you fail to continue to try is silly. Moral of the story... if you fail dont be silly and try again!

Didn't Seri already finish 10th in a similar event? If so I'm sure Michelle could at least make the cut.

Seri was in a Korean PGA event at a fairly short course. This is an Asian PGA event with a deeper field supposedly including Fred Couples and several strong Asia PGA tour players. It's certainly easier than a US PGA event, but probably about the same difficulty for her as the Casio.

One thing going for her is it's a new course, so everyone will be unfamiliar with it. Also, supposedly the greens are not as fast in Korea. I think she has a good shot at it, probably over 50%.
