Brittany has a great support group in her parents. I always make it a point to chat with them when I see them at tournaments.

When the US Open was in Minnesota (last year?) there was a corner of the golf course that was hard to get into. I went down into the corner and there were very few fans, but I ran across the mother of a young woman playing (she was an amateur that had won a qualifier). She was just like I would have been if my child had gotten into this event, so proud and yet worried as her daughter was not playing so well. They had traveled together so she could attend. Later that same day we decided to eat dinner locally and at a larger table were a couple of players and their parents. It warmed my heart to see these proud parents still helping out, and the young adults letting them.
