A suggestion

Hi,

I wonder if it possible to tweak this board so that only ladies golf related threads show up under "Recent Threads"?

It is quite annoying to have to dredge through all these unrelated threads (tennis, NBA, for example) before getting to the "meat" of this board.

Thank you!

I agree. It takes me about a second, maybe two seconds, to read the title of the thread. And then, the annoying part, about less than a second to read below. If it says "anything" or "other tours" or something equally inane; I have to scrowl down. Quite annoying.

Yes!
It should be easy to add some flag to each folder, so that only posts in certain folder generate messages which end up under "Recent Threads".

Great idea. It would save me nanoseconds in my very busy life.

There are weeks, and during the winter, months, that there are no tournaments. Add that to the fact that some people have interests other than women's golf, and you have topics other than women's golf that arise.

There is a subscribe function you can use so you only read the forums that you would like to read. You choose the forum, click on the forum tools, and subscribe. You can then see the threads in the control panel.

I'm happy to remove the forums from the front page there if enough members want it removed.

I personally like the forums on the front page. It makes navigation easy, and we have the ability to read the threads we want to read or skip them if we choose.

I am almost positive that if you take a poll, "thecrow" will be the only poster in favor of such change. Give him a hand and eventually he will take the board.

As MP said, there are a lot of 'dead' weeks, I'm all for leaving it as it is.
