Member cleanup

Hi all
In an effort to clean the mylpga database, users with zero posts will be removed this weekend.

Cheers Rusty.

Received a few emails so further explanation is needed.

The database has been filled with spammers from automatic spam bots. This move is not to delete legitimate members, but spammer usernames stored in the database, (there are at least 1000) The easiest way to find them is from there post count which is usually zero due to the moderation of spam and banning. I will do all I can to make sure real members won't be deleted.

Cheers Rusty

I think there are people who are registered but do not necesserily post, but you need to be registered to see some of the forums.

I'm registered but have not previously posted.

I'm a reader rather than a poster, I'm a member of a number of forums and if I can't add something of interest to a thread I don't post.

I get annoyed at wasting time reading posts by other people that do not add to a thread.

Apologies to those who have read this, but I don't want to be deleted.

I keep seeing the name "WIEFAN" pop up on this board....now that must be a spammer. He claims to be a poi eating, coconut milk drinking beachcomber on some island in the South Pacific.
That "DANGERBOB" name that pops up occasionally, gotta be another spammmer...he keeps trying to sell pics of ladies resting comfortably in old folks homes....
You've got your work cut out for you Rusty...

Hi ya Buzzer...check out the red part of your quote...Did you know that Hawaii is the BIGGEST CONSUMER of Spam in the entire USA...heck!! even McDonalds serve "Spam and Eggs" on their Breakfast Menu...in fact I would even venture to guess that Hawaii is the SPAM CAPITAL of the world....I love Spam....Spam and Cabbage is a great dish...and when I make Hamburger Patties, I mix up one can of Spam with the Hamburger to give it a Splash of Life...Yummies!!!....for anyone that knows a Person from Hawaii....just ask them about this Spam Frenzy in the islands

anyway....sorry about Anna not advancing...she played very well and steady....anyway...Have a good day...see ya!!
