Smile Is Seon Hwa Lee flying under the radar?

This girls game looks so good and never gets a mention when they talk about the new breed, and "the next one" to assume the throne as number one player on the LPGA. Is it possible that this girl is just being looked past by the American media? It would be nice to hear Karin and Sophies thoughts on her too if they read this.

She needs more length. Her swing speed can't be much more than JJ. Don't forget, this "rookie" has been a pro for 6 yrs.

I think length is overrated on the courses the women play. Also there isn't a huge distance in length among the players. She's ranked 79th in driving distance now, but her distance is only 15 yards shorter than Annika's. (252 vs 267). And with all due respect, the longest driver on tour, also a rookie, has missed as many cuts as she's made (sorry, I couldn't come up with a more tactful way of saying this!)

Cleo here is a link here to her stats, first in putting and first in birdies. That adds up to a major force!

We'll see this week since she's hot and playing a major whether or not she's got the game for the longer, tougher set-ups.

Longer is one thing. Tougher (thicker rough, etc.) is another.

Cool Lee is rookie of the year

Seon Hwa is under the radar no longer. This young lady will be a force on the LPGA for a long time. Especially on the shorter courses. She is very accurate off the tee and one of the best putters in women's golf. Lee is one of the leaders of the Asian invasion on the tour.

And what's your point? JJ has won a major.

Who cares if she's been a pro for 6 years? She's an LPGA rookie just the same, and she's only 20 years old.

The original poster was wondering why she hadn't been mentioned as a successor to the #1 position. JJ although having won a major isn't mentioned as a possible heir either probably because of her length. That's the point.

In regards to a player who's already had 6 yrs. of professional experience, I don't see her as being part of the "new breed", and maybe that's a reason she hasn't gotten the same attention as some of the others.

By the way, I suggest you do something about your anger management problem, you consistently write like a jr. high problem child.

-3 after 9. I know everyone has access to Real Time scoring, but this is a good start.
