Hi Karin,

What are your thoughts of the year that just past. Besides the fact that you must be really happy to join the LPGA, what else can you tell us about your year. What went right and what (if anything) went wrong?

I'm afraid this question will have to wait another week as well... I'll try to find a computer while gone (mine has a nice virus and will only stay on for about 15 seconds at a time...). If not, the reply will come around the 7th of January!

I knew that turning pro and joining the LPGA Tour would be a big change in my life. I knew that I'd be travelling a lot more, that I'd have a caddy for the first time in my life, that I'd have to take care of all travel arrangements, etcetera.
There were, however, a few things that I did not anticipate.
My ball striking was pretty bad most of the year. I played OK in Hawaii, but the next time I was hitting the ball well was in Sweden in August. I learnt a lot from this and my coach will join me a few weeks on tour this coming season to keep my game under control. I also understood that I had to practice more during the tournament week, not just during the weeks off...

I wasn't very happy about the way I played during 2006. I believe that I can play a lot better and I hope that I can prove that this year. I guess that I'm pretty satisfied with the results though - keeping my card, recording a couple of top-10 finishes, shooting some good scores...

I'm really looking forward to this year and can't wait to go to Hawaii for the first two events! My goals are set higher this year and I hope that you'll find my name near the top of the leaderboards more frequently!
